This Privacy Policy describes how RDroid Apps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Buddhist Calendar mobile application (the "App"), available on Android devices under the application ID com.rdroid.dhammadarshan.
By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Buddhist Calendar is an informational and utility application for Buddhist calendar events, cultural content, meditation tools, reminders, and related features.
The App does not require user registration, login, or account creation. You can use most features without providing your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying personal information to us.
We designed the App to minimize data collection. Most user-created content stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically by us and by third-party services integrated into the App, including:

Some images or reference content may be loaded from third-party sources (for example: publisher-hosted resources or publicly available image repositories such as Wikimedia). Those providers may receive standard web request information (such as IP address and user agent) when content is loaded.

AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve, measure, and improve ads. Ad personalization depends on your device settings, region, and Google's policies.

The App can work offline for many core calendar and reference features after content has been cached on your device.

Automatically collected analytics and advertising-related data is retained according to the retention policies of Google Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, and other Google services.
Locally stored App data remains on your device until you delete it, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
Remote content cached on your device may be refreshed or replaced when the App checks for updates.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by the App and our service providers. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Because much of your personal App content is stored locally on your device, you should also protect your device with a screen lock and keep your operating system updated.

The App may allow Android's backup and restore features to include certain App data if backup is enabled on your device and supported by your device manufacturer. Backup behavior is controlled by Android and your device settings.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).

If you are a parent or guardian, you may use device-level parental controls to restrict App installation and usage.
The App may be used in different countries. Information collected through the App and third-party services may be processed in countries where those service providers operate, including the United States and other jurisdictions where Google maintains infrastructure.
If you use the App from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including the right to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information processed by us or our service providers. Because most App content is stored locally and analytics/ads are handled by Google, many requests may need to be directed to Google or exercised through your device settings.

If there is any inconsistency between this Privacy Policy and the Play Store listing at the time of publication, this Privacy Policy governs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or service provider practices.
When we update the policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or our website where appropriate.
